The Arrival of Chaos

This blog begins at an opportune time in our lives. Little boy Lynch Zachariah has just made his appearance. Chaos, being the currency God most uses to "make room" for Himself, has arrived. Zachariah was born March 13, at 6:10am, at just short of 33 weeks gestation. The package included an expected c-section, an unexpected blood transfusion for my wife, a 4 day stay (Mar 13-16) at the hospital for Nanci, a quick visit for Nanci back to emergency room this last Sunday (Mar 18) for anemia, an overnighter to the hospital for Nanc for another blood transfusion (Mar 20-21) and finally, a return for Nanci to her semi-bid rest here at home (something she endured for months before Zachariah arrived). That's just the highlights!

i cannot remember a time when the raw Word of God has been so powerful and calming. Fear not. Take my yoke upon you. Be anxious for nothing. Cast your cares upon him. He who tries to save his life will lose it. No explanation of purpose or benefit can suffice. No counsel fulfills. Here and now, the words of life suffice. Desperation has its own rewards.
